The Ronald J. Freeman Sr. Chapter of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) of the Georgia State University College of Law will have their 40th Anniversary Gala, to support the legacy and future of the BLSA at Georgia State University. This event will celebrate four decades of this beloved organization and continue its mission of academic excellence, civic engagement, and professional and positive impact in the community. The gala will feature Judge Glenda Hatchett as mistress of ceremonies and the Honorable Nancy Abudu, US Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. Funds raised from the event will fund scholarships for future African Americans who are pursing careers in the field of law at the Georgia State University College of Law.
